So I had a draft sketch of A DBZ Oc a few days ago. Sketches her up, then coloured it. The idea was that she would be a Highschool teenager, one fascinated with machines and tech, a girl who’s goal was to work at Capsule Corps one day. She very much loves Okonomiyaki. That, or she could be a different Oc, due to the fact that i decided to try the old 80s-90s art style.
She’s the type where she does seem all cutesy in both appearance, styles and voice, but her personality is that of complete opposite. Yes she does embrace her girlish side, but this girl is more stern than any. She could even be classified as a Tsundere, although she is capable of being able to give a beating if you legitimately try to mess with her. She doesn’t deal with compliments very well, as she would get super embarrassed and blushy when that does happen
As I was colouring and drawing her, I tried to find a name for her. I didn’t want to give a food name pun, since we already had enough of those. At first I struggled, but then I finally got it. I decided to name her Hiromi Hisakawa. The fact that i named her Hiromi, was because i wanted to name her after the late Hiromi Tsuru, a tribute to honor her name. The fact that Hiromi Hisakawa loves Okonomiyaki is a reference i made to one of the characters in an anime called ‘ Ranma 1/2 ‘, where a chef named ‘ Ukyo Kuonji ‘ cooks Okonomiyaki. Hiromi Tsuru was the voice actress for the character Ukyo.
