Saw SingVery nice ensemble cast taking a look at the itch to perform on a stage from various viewpoints from the harried housewife pig, the teen porcupine rocker, the gorilla who wants to get out of his dad's criminal gang, a Sinatra-attitude mouse, the shy elephant girl with the gift of voice, and the koala wanna-be showman.
Predictable concept (putting on a show and saving a doomed venue) but a funny story with great voice acting, singing, and characters...I really liked Meena the elephant, Johnny the gorilla and Ash the porcupine who resembles a familiar looking porcupine I draw often. Mike the Rat Pack mouse is unlikable but he is sympathetic when he respects the other performers later. Would be nice to learn what happened to the characters after the singing is done, though. The ending is abrupt.
