Description I need to study values more. I hope you like it.

Process in here

365 DaysI'm challenging my self to paint 1 landscape/scenery painting per day for this 2017.
I know my Landscape paintings suck but I hope you bear with me. I hope that I improve this year because I really wanna be a game concept artist.
My portrait paintings won't be counted to the challenge.
And by the way, most of my paintings have no reference. I struggle to find the right shape for everything. I may use reference but only for colors (I suck at picking colors, everything is a result of random color selection then i just correct them with "selective color")
And for the process of "Dip"
Here goes
Sorry but there is a missing step since I accidentally merged the 2nd, 3rd and 4th image.
As you can see it is a result of throwing random colors (for my case, orange family since I love orange) and them fixing them up with selective color.

I love the usage of color in this work. The blue glow of the water pops against the red color scheme of the character without being obnoxious or harsh. I can see in your style that you're well educated on facial proportions, as well as the behaviors of light and shading. I've seen many art styles lose their ability to convey emotion as they become more realistic, but your style shows very clear emotion despite being very detailed. I'm impressed!

I've taken a look at a few of your other works and I suggest you play with the diversity of your characters. Some examples are things like body types, races, and age. You're a very good artist, and I think you're ready to step out of your comfort zone. Start drawing things you've never even thought of drawing before, it'll help you broaden your ability range.

Over all, I find the piece very pleasing. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! To be honest I'm not really good with proportions, I struggle to keep  them aligned. And yes, I am currently limited to portraits ( headshots) and I am studying forms and anatomy ( including landscapes).

I will keep everything in mind and again THANK YOU!!!
