That crab's noodle arms are probably super easy to break in order to eat the meat inside of it.

Honestly! They live on the beach and food is thin. If the life in the sea is sacred to them you would think they'd be all over eating ocean life, after all, there's not a whoooole lotta food sources in the ocean so fish mostly eat, well, other fish. The Tide would gobble up a crab if he found a dead one! XD

Right, but all I'm saying is, if they worship the crab they should be all about eating crab because crabs are absolutely delighted to cannibalize. XD They don't care in the slightest, they're very practical in that way.
They also feed their elders to sharks though so this must be a relatively complicated religion.
