Happy New Year to my friends!Who would have thought that Mugen would be my last doodle of 2008 and the first fully rendered CP drawing of 2009?! (Not that I'm complaining.)
As far as fanart goes, age progressed version of a character is a fascinating idea. When I do a fanart or fan fic, I prefer to stay within the time period and general set up of the original version of the story, but I did have fun with this one like I did with versions of "Jin at 40". I think these are both good-looking men to begin with, and get only better with age. (Wish they'd make another series or a movie...anything...)
So here, ahead of the publishing of your BaU epilogue, this one's for you, Laura neesan ! Thanks for all the inspiration and help!
And this one also goes to HiddenGems for her friendship and support she has kindly extended to this newbie. It's so nice to have a fanart friend to do things(prompt drawing) together!
This Mugen is also for General-Kel who has given me so many faves and comments for my "original" SC fanart.

Thank you! I had a hard time imagining older Mugen. In my mind(in the original anime series canon), I always pictured him dying young accidentally from something reckless, so at first I was dumbstruck by the idea of Mugen at 40... lol! I like how he came out in this one.

I had a wild friend who I went to elementary school and middle school with, who looked a bit like Bruce Lee. He ended up dead at 19 from motorcycle vs. big truck head-on collision. Anime Mugen's personality always reminded me of him.
