I made a post about this a couple of years ago:
How do I get the color transition effect on sketchA lot of people lately ask me questions like this:
'how did u give colours to the lines?'
here's the answer I gave once
'I'm using photoshop for this. Basically, You create a new layer on top of your basic one, set the mode to 'color' or 'overlay' and paint it with whatever colors you like. Then just use a filter like gaussian blur or motion blur to give the colors smooth transition and it's done '
Sorry for not replying to You all, but it would be kinda a pain in the @$$ to write the same thing over and over (there's not a single daying without someone asking about the colors) so I thought I would make a journal entry. I know that description may seem a very short (it's a short process actually) so don't hesitate to ask me questions, I'll try to answer the best I can.
Possibly I'll make a tutorial on how to apply the color effect so it would be easy to understand. I don't know though how to title such a tutorial, so I kinda need your help, I mean, if you were trying to find a tuttoria

Oh my, she's really cute. And she looks friendly and cool and down to earth, too.
Like, I have no idea if this is actually Supergirl or just a girl in a t-shirt, but either way it's great. I love simple but detailed inked drawings like this. So, so good.
