All dragons (females and males) are chained at night in the stables so they don't just run/fly way During day time they are being exercised by their keepers and trained for different tasks, some for military positions and others to help bring supplies to the villages as well as other things like hunting and so on

Nope, commoners don't own dragons. Not large ones though, smaller wingless ones are allowed, but they need a permit to own one or more nad since they are a bit expensive only the merchants and skilled hunters are usually seen with one or two.

The ones on the royal stables are usually wyverns or western type dragons and are only taken care by the keepers or the king's guards. They are ususally purebloods, and have been bread for several generations, so they are not captured

Captured dragons aren't easily tamed, so the first king has decided to start breeding their own lines, and to the present days that is what happened.

I swear, I have this story so developed, I just love it My first and most favorited chars are from it. x)

One off the wyvers in Arthimir is Moondance. [link] She's considered a pet, and does not get training for anything in specific.
