this is REALLY well done. not only do the colours pop but they also make the image in the mirror look a bit monotonous....if thats the right word. i dont immediately notice the figure in the mirror but when i do the image means alot more.

i really dig the colorscheme on this one. the dominant use of blue/cool colors works splendidly for this piece, especially since it makes the lush red blood pop out even more.
this is a wonderful concept. it seems to me that it's one that people who don't get art are unlikely to understandor be able to empathize with, thus illustrating your point, i think.
there is a price to pay. a hefty price. but i think it's worth it. your work is certainly a testament to that.

Thanks a lot. I didn't figure it would be too popular with the average public. You're right, I did it mainly for artist. I had it in a show Friday night and most of the people never gave it a second look except for the other artist I showed with. They seemed to like it pretty well. I guess because they could relate to it.

Hey, loved seeing this last night at the show as soon as you finished it and brought it in. Seeing your work online is nothing compared to the impact the color and size gives you with seeing it with my own eyes. Computer monitors do not do the justice that it deserves. Again, nice work.
