That would have been cool had you not rotated it a bit, but the transformation really lends well to the effect! Nice!

Well, our springs are pretty cold. Usually that's when it snows if it does. We've gotten some pretty good snows in past years during February and March.

Yes, I am indeed a different religion, hun. ^^ I consider myself an eclectic pagan.
Yule is the Germanic pagan holiday which Christmas takes after. It is the longest night of the year and the dawn at the end of the night represents the rebirth of the sun god, the conquering of darkness, and all the many blessings that are to come after winter. The ancient Christians, when converting pagans to their religion, and seeing that the holiday already marked the birth/rebirth of a deity, took the point of the holiday and made it Christmas to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ (though Christian theologians pinpoint Christ's birth to actually be in the lambing season, which is in the spring). Also, there are several other days that Christians borrowed (or "re-made") from paganism, including Easter and All Saints Day. Annnnd, while not Christian, Halloween derives from pagan (Celtic) origins as well.
The Roman name for Yule is Saturnalia (the celebration of mid-winter and the winter solstice), and from Saturnalia we get many of the Christmas traditions such as the exchanging of gifts, visiting friends and family members and feasting with them, bringing trees into our homes and decorating them (the Bible actually condemns this), putting lights up, etc etc. Yule/Saturnalia is celebrated by many modern pagans on the 21st, though this varies... but typically, it is the 21st. At least, every single pagan I know does so on this date; but, again, in different places around the world, this is prone to have variations.
Also, traditionally, the celebration of Yule/Saturnalia lasted for twelve days and since pagans go by a lunar calendar, it made up for the missing days in the year and the holiday would begin around the 17th of the month. This is also where we get the "twelve days of Christmas" from. Not the song, but the observance or acknowledgment of the twelve days. lol
Lots of interesting facts to be learned, I suppose. You should do some research into it if you're so interested in the topic. Anyway, it's fun knowing about other religions. You mentioned that you're a Christian, hun. I actually attended a Christians school for both middle and high school so I know quite a bit about your religion! Also, I know a bit from my apologetics and worldviews classes about each of the major world religions, including Christianity (and the denominations within it), Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and even some things about Mormonism and the faith of the Jehovah's Witnesses!
But, no, I'm very happy you asked me about Yule because it's fun explaining it to people!

You're welcome, I also really love the colors, and the sense of motion from the swing like it's sledding down the "slope". Maybe It'd have more emphasis if the swing was tinted red?
