You know what? I never found these lines particularly funny. UntiL NOW. Just seeing the text never made me laugh, but the lines combined with the facial expressions make it work for me. Beautiful storytelling, of course, also helps significantly!

That window though, will you have some kind of explaniation later why they don't just break one of them to escape?

That's a good question, actually. I don't think it ever was explained in-game, they just mention at one point that they can't find any other way out except the front door. With all the talk going on about destroying clocks and getting time to flow normally again I always just assumed that somehow the distortion in time prevented them from leaving the house and made stunts like breaking a window (or a wall - they've got America on the team after all) impossible...

Maybe England can feel there is some kind of magic around the windows? Or something?

I mean, Italy didn't remember the second time-line (the one he died in), so it makes sense England and the others wouldn't remember the earlier time-lines where they died.
You know, until after they've broken the clocks.
However England was the one who turned back time after Italy died, didn't he? After the second time-line.
So does that mean, to England, it still feels like the "third time-line" where he (still?) tries to make sure Italy doesn't die? Just a thought.
Huh. I might make a journal about this actually, because this theory would be pretty interesting to discuss with people.

I don’t think he does… I think it basically boils down to the fact that traveling back in time works different for Italy and England – Italy has this one save state at the world meeting place to which he can return if he messes up. And apart from his own memories and a few remnants of memories for the others it’s like nothing ever happened. England on the other hand acutally travels back in time physically – when he turns back time during the second timeloop, there’s a new England showing up with the others at the mansion entrance, but when he walks in on Italy, Germany and America in the piano room shortly afterwards he’s hurt, he knows what’s up and he’s got just enough magic left to hold up Stevie for a while and send them back in time. So I think that’s actually England from the second time loop, who would have all the memories of the second time loop, while third-timeloop-Iggy doesn't remember anything.
That's the explanation I've come up with for myself, anyway. Does this make sense? x)
