Description
This is the character I have always liked the least and regardless of what I do with her design, I can just seemingly never hit the sweet spot that I did with the others. Though is certainly my favorite design for her so far. She is Arvalis' platonic best friend from the same small town. She is also a reincarnated "god", one of three. She uses a weapon called a hammerhawk. More character sheets to follow.2010:

You mentioned how you don't really like her and I was really looking at her to figure out why, because I don't really like her either. I looked at all her past designs and she does look best right now but what is bothering me is the armor on the skirt. You went with this overlapping scale pattern but on a curvy girl like her it just looks wrong and sort of like she is a young child who doesn't know how to dress herself. I think she might look better if that armor was to sweep off to the side at a diagonal. Just a suggestion. Regardless your art is amazing and I wish I were that good.

Hrm... what if you made her non-human? Give her elf ears, oddly colored skin, and maybe try to set her apart from the rest of the characters? To me, nothing about her really stands out. I think what she needs is some sort of alien feel about her.

looking at the base you drew for her... not very curvy at all, interesting to see a less super curvy girl

The work put into these designs is amazing. The only minor hitch in my very humble opinion is the pink accents don't seem to flow with the rest of her palette. Maybe make the edging a darker green to accent the rest of her outfit or change the details to gold to compliment her hair? Just a thought!

Its funny because she has always been one of my favorite designs of yours. I feel like I know more about her personality just from her pictures perhaps than any of the other characters. The fact that you say you are least happy with her makes me wonder if the personality that I perscribed to her is perhaps skewed from the one you intend.
Anyway I alwys really loved her especially back inn '09 version. The loss of her hammer makes me a little sad but the axes look so bad ass I cant feel that bad about it.

From her older designs it seems like she is supposed to be a little more tom-boy'ish? Also based on the previous weapon designs I get a heavy hitter vibe. Maybe something resembling more of an armored smithy smock and some heavier leather smithing gloves? Pulling back the hair a little would go a long way as well, braid's or a pig-tail, etc. Some of the older designs have that worked in. Right now I get a bit too much of a Yuna vibe, and for as much as they tried to sell Yuna as a tough gal, the costuming and feathered hair always stole her thunder.
