Description
Hey guys I was contacted by author Tiffani Collins to work on a character splash illustration of her novel's protagonist. The character was described as a white tiger with heterochromatic eyes, owl wings, eagle talons on the hands, ears of a fox, and the tail of an archaeopteryx. Considering the very specific brief I think I was able to make all those things happen. Wow, everything about this stunning, the more i flick my gaze across the more things jump out, first saw tiger with wing, then noticed the claws, then the perky ears - very cool

The wings are completely mindblowing! I really love the subtle tweaks to the tiger's forelimbs and facial features that make them very reminiscent to owls, and those wings create an incredible sense of scale! And the textures... I could've stared at the texture details forever

Holy, epically wondrous! This Phenomenal Tiger Griffin is stunning and The Owl Wings look incredible. The designs, expression, pose, eagle talons, ears, archaeopteryx tail, heterochromatic eyes, stripes, fur, claws, markings, feathers, teeth, forest scape, stream, water, ripples, trees, leaves, flowers, branches, log, boulders, plant life, sunlight, mist, gleam, glow, flow, movement, effects, realisticness, perspective, atmosphere, hues, textures, concept, composition, uniqueness, colors, lighting, style, and other details are also sensational. Amazingly Radical work!

Man that's an epic wingspan, how does it fit anywhere? XD Seems like it should be prancing around dizzying cliff heights rather than in the jungle! Looks awesome, and appears to my untrained eye like it matches the brief pretty much exactly, hope she loves it
