Description
Koa spends most of his time working in a large amusement park selling souvenirs and refreshments. He quite enjoys it, and considering that the park hosts a giant, spectacular firework show during New Year's eve, he would not mind in the slightest to take its evening shift. It warms his heart as he leans against his closed stand at the end of the day, watching not just the amazing display of colours and shapes, but the awed expression of all the excited visitors around him as well. Their happiness is the biggest reason that he loves what he does.
My entry for 's January prompt ;v;/ This piece is kind of sentimental to me cause I worked in a Disney park before and found myself in Koa's position a lot, tasked with supervising the daily firework show and ensuring everyone's wellbeing/safety during it. A wonderful experience!

For some reason, seeing these character designs I was immediately reminded of Caza's "axolotls" (who have little in common with the creatures they are named for). If one does not know the characters' backgrounds - I read the grem are engineered anthros - this scene could very well be taking place in one of Caza's worlds, only in a far kinder, innocent time.
