Description This is my new drawing of Ruben, I drew him before and give it to his parents..
some of you who have seen the other drawing of Ruben, and my friends on DA of course will know that Ruben passed away in September last year.. so this is a very special drawing for me, and I put all my emotion and my hart and soul in it, and I hope you can see it!! I finished this drawing a while ago, but I have been very busy, and 2 weeks ago I found the time to submit it.. But then I thought, no I will wait till july the 9th to submit it because it would be his birthday today.

So Ruben this is for you!!

I framed this drawing and it's standing in my bedroom, I also showed it to his parents, they loved it!!

ow i'm such a bad girl.. this comment I get from you is from july 10!!! that's 5 months ago and I didn't answer it.. but thanks anyway!! how are you now? have you done nice things in those 5 months, this afternoon I will start a new drawing, and I hope I will be more on DA from now on.. but can't promis anything..

Oh I have been lazy, too. And I didn't visit DA so often, so I will forgive you . I'm really fine at the moment! As usual, there's a lot of work for school, in fact during 3 weeks I had to write 8 tests... and just 2 of them are done yet, that's not so nice, especially in that christmas-time (well, I'm not really into it yet, but it's an argument, isn't it?! ^^). What have you been doing? And how are you? I hope this time you will answer a bit quicker

Hey,
I haven't been lazy, but school takes all my time.. this is my last year, so it's a lot of hard work, but it's nice to do.. But I want to be more on DA .. so I am busy with a drawing of dr. House.. and I hope to finish it soon, I already have the eye, the nose (but need some more shadings) and the mouth and some shadings around those parts.. it's a picture from a half face, so i only have to draw one eye, and not much hair
Ow you are busy with school too, I hate tests!! but I don't have to do much of them, maybe 2 to 4 in a year, but thats because I'm on a creative school, we don't have theory lessons very much.. haha but before you know it's already january.. time is going very fast.
I'm fine lately, I have long days at school, and it makes me tired sometimes, but I feel quite happy and next tuesday it's my birthday, then I'm 20 years old hihi don't feel like 20..
I think I keep my word and answer the very same day
it;s nice to talk to you again!

Haha, ja dat kan je wel zeggen ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik alles behalve actief ben op DA, vandaar dat ik ook niet zo snel reageer.
Maar met mij gaat alles goed! Begonnen aan mn nieuwe studie, Psychologie en het bevalt super goed. En hoe is het met jou? Zat je nou in het laatste schooljaar of is dat alweer een jaar geleden? (tijd vliegt zeg!)

Hey, jah ik ben ook echt een jaar ofzo non-actief geweest, ik was er maar af en toe.. maar nu ben ik weer vrij actief, laatste week.
Ow gelukkig dat alles goed gaat, bij mij ook hoor! Ik zit nu in het laatste jaar, dus heb het er echt enorm druk mee, veel meer werk, maar ook een stuk leuker. Ik doe de laatste tijd ook af en toe muurschilderingen, en dat is ook echt supergaaf!! ik zal er eens wat fotos van op DA zetten!! Ow jah je ging beginnen met je studie psychologie. Ja ik hoef niet meer te vragen hoe het is, want je zegt t zelf al Maar das in ieder geval fijn om te horen. Wat voor soort vakken heb je dan eigelijk, of jah wat voor dingen doe je tijdens de lessen. Ben ik wel benieuwd naar.. Jah tijd vliegt idd voorbij.. veel te snel als je t mij vraagt..

Haha momenteel ben ik echt alles behalve actief op DA (vandaar ook deze trage reactie). Ik heb het wel een beetje gezien met deviantart... aan de ene kant vind ik het wel jammer maarja, hoe lang zit ik er al wel niet op, drie jaar of zo...

Maar goed, leuk om te horen dat je het nog steeds naar je zin hebt! Klinkt ook wel super gaaf wat je allemaal doet op die school! Moet je inderdaad maar es later zien, ben ik wel benieuwd naar!

Emm wat ik allemaal doe op school... haha eigenlijk veelal hetzelfde. Zit maar 10 uur op school per week (voor de rest is het zelfstudie) en dan moet ik naar bijeenkomsten (groepjes van 10 man) waarin we een probleem bespreken en de bijhorende theorieen en zo. Echt super vet! En omdat die groepjes elke keer veranderen leer je heel veel mensen kennen. Maar je zit verder wel heel veel alleen (thuis 30 uur per week) dus je moet wel de discipline opbrengen om aan je huiswerk te gaan zitten. Maar dat zit wel snor

maakt helemaal niet uit hoor, ik ben ook een tijd helemaal niet actief geweest, je zult t ook wel druk hebben met je studie enzo

Jah tis allemaal leuk, en gezellige klas enzo. Maar na de vakantie heb k 2 productpresentaties, en presentaties zijn niet mijn sterke punt.. maar k zie wel hoe het gaat. Jah nu heb ik vakantie, dus kan ik ff op mijn computer zoeken naar fotos van dingen die ik ondertussen gemaakt heb

Ow 10 uur op school, das fijn.. ja dan heb je idd wel nog thuis veel werk, veel zelfstandig dan.. Pff dat zou niks voor mij zijn, als ik thuis ben dan stel ik vaak dingen uit, ja k zou het wel doen, maar wordt dan vaak laatste nippertjes werk, stess stress hihi Maar het klinkt wel interresant. Ik moet onderhand al weer weten wat ik hierna wil gaan doen, maar das zo moeilijk, ik weet het echt niet :S

Thanks a lot I don't use grids, but I have my stuff for making the proportions look right... because proportions are very hard to draw, I think that's the hardest part, I hope one day I can do it without the help of my lightbox tool, but for now it's very helpfull.. and I only use it for the outline of the face and the point where the eyes, nose and mouth start.
