hey everyone! long time no see.

here today we have the RANDOM and sudden inspiration to paint gon and killua. they're the first ship (i guess. lol) that got me hooked to the black/white or ying/yang category of pairings. I now can't get enough of it and facking love it. I use it in everything I make content wise. when two people balance eachother out so much and theyre just this unit, i go crazy. muah.

anyways, eah. with this painting, I really wanted to let go of a perfectionist look and just paint. I've been so busy with school and havent had the chance to just do what i want. I worry so much about posting to instagram and making it the perfect picture but im recognizing that i need to let go of that. i know there are things in this picture that don't make sense lighting wise, or don't look done, but thats the point. If I spend all my time trying to make it look perfect, I wont finish anything. :/

so yeah. here's to these two. They're cute as a pairing, but their friendship is really what i love. also uh... If I was shipping them in the way my 13-14 year old self did but in the current day, that would be weird. so im just not gonna go there.

anyways! if you havent read or watched hxh yet PLEASE do. ugh I rewatch this series + the 1999 version all the fucking time its so good. you wont find better fleshed out villains or "good" guys anywhere else. it will make you laugh and cry and scream. please. i beg of you.

besides that, I hope youre all doing well! please remember to wash your hands and cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze.
