This is another P-Bandai release. Straight build, panel lining, gloss coat because of the waterslides.

Unlike traditional gentei RGs that are are exactly the same as regular release, but molded in a different color, this one has a few special parts made just for it - the traditional ESFS pelvis chevron and cross are gone here. It also sports waterslides for it's unique markings, another change from traditional gentei RGs. The regular RX-78-2 sticker sheet is also included, but all you're going to use from it are the metallic stickers. Other than that it's the same RG RX-78-2 kit with it's ups and downs.

Casval's gundam comes from Gihren's Greed, a turn-based strategy, where you could affect various events of One Year War and change it's outcome, creating alternative timelines. In one of those timelines, where Zeon wins the OYW, Char Aznable leaves Zeon to establish Neo Zeon and finish his revenge on Zabi family. Best scientists from Zeon and Federation come there and create Char's new mobile suit, RX-78/C.A. While it looks identical to RX-78-2, underneath it's a completely different machine.
