Last day of the challenge!

I could have used any superhero for this prompt, but I chose to pay homage to one of my favourite movies, instead: "The Phantom of the Opera", which I watched with my Mom and Grandma when it came out in 2004.

It's the second time I try to draw Christine and Erik, and I'm glad to see I've improved since my first attempt. Also, I realized I love ink, love the black and white comic-y feel that I've used for this drawing and many others during this challenge...

... love the Inktober challenge. I honestly doubted I would make it to the end - even late - but I'm so glad I did. I haven't enjoyed all the prompts, and some days I thought it really wasn't worth it. But this challenge gave me the opportunity to test myself with subjects and mediums I'd never tried before, taughts me to think differently to come out with ideas to depict the prompts, helped me practice and - why not - improve myself. Some drawings came out better than others, some got more recognition and some others not so much, but when I look at all the pieces I made for this challenge I can definitely smile and be proud of myself. Because I made it. And that's amazing.
