Nashya— ….a Trumm, or crossbreed of pureblood races. Trumm are seen by most Lo-meenoschki as the commoners of Aquuian society. She is the daughter of a glow-worm farmer and her family are descendants of a hidden cult in Aquuis which still pays homage to the shunned Earth-Father. When Nashya became old enough to be trusted with the secret, her father began to teach her of the Earth Father, and to revere him as well as the Sea Mother. She was taught all the remaining knowledge of land and the sun and Earth Father. At maturity, she was taken by members of the cult on a secret journey, across the Wastes and beyond, to land, where she learned of Man, and the lost power to change shape. Finally, she was introduced to the legend of Isiid’s power, and the hope that one day the secret would be found that would enable all of Aquus to recover their lost heritage
