I love these guys so much. I already commented on Karolina and Xavin, and have the same thing to say here: Your colouring is amazing. Seriously, the highlights, the hair, it's blowing me away.

I figured the more they had in common the more they'd look like they belonged together ultimately. Coloring really helps with that. Specially cause they're all so different.

Aaahhh... I think I see what you're doing here, what with the characters involved. And I gotta say, I love how each piece is done!
I'd love to comment on each piece and say how awesomely rendered they are, but I'm pretty sure you hate message spam as much as the next human being.
But anyway, YES!!! I've always been a fan of your work, and this series is no exception. I love that each character is rendered in white beach wear; it gives a bit of innocence and playfulness that is so adorable. All the poses that you placed them in really reflect their character as well, from the loving embrace of Karolina and Xavin, to the posh pinup of Mystique, and even the over-confident Daken are capture very well.
But these two! I love Wiccan and Hulkling, and your portrayal of them here really make my heart melt <3!!!
As with all of your pieces, I love how everything is rendered: muscle tone, lighting and shading, even down to their expressions! I also love the fact that they're placed in front of solid color backgrounds!

Hate comments? Spam? Not in the least. I really like knowing that my message reads clearly. The only way to do that is though your words. It helps me fine tune for the next round.
I handle pieces by content or theme; I was going for a certain feel (individually and as group) with this piece.
The white beach wear was a unifying element. Working on them separately pushed me to make them as cohesive as I could. Uniforms would have made them look like they're ready to work; didn't want that. Glad you read into it.
Capturing personality is almost a must for me. Maybe just because I enjoy it. You noticing let's me know I did something right.
Bill and Ted's relationship is written so Tenderly, conveying that mattered to me. You picked that up as well.

Well I'm glad that my comments really got to you!
I haven't been active on DeviantArt for that long, but truth be told, I've been following your work for a long time. I remember first seeing your art on a Psylocke fan site some years ago (I think you might know what I'm talking about), and thinking "wow, I didn't know fanart could look like THIS!"
From then until now, I can recognize your work instantly (from the aforementioned aspects like character, poses, colours etc.) and I'm glad I found you here on dA.
In regards to this piece, I am actually impressed that you managed to work on each piece individually and still managed to make them look cohesive in the overall piece.
And yes, I do like the final piece. And as a gay comic book reader myself, I do plan on getting this as a print as well!

A gorgeous combination. It's taking me awhile to get used to the soft background, but I'm getting there. The individual figures/gropings were so much more sharply delineated in the originals.picture.
