Love your works and products, use NGS2 all the time. No offense but this one looks rather waxy to me (saw that tendency already in your last rendering). Just ignore me, I just don't know what I'm talking about......
(still absolutely blown away by those)

I use Normal Maps Online ALL THE TIME for quickie maps.Β Just wish he would code in a glossy (almost black map with glossy bits) and better specular options.Β

Thank you for your comprehensive reply and reminding me of that online normal mapper.
I used it years ago and almost forgot about it. Nice!
Speaking of normals, veins and all that fancy stuff... I would very appreciate a more detailed guide coming together with NGS3.
The one for NGS2 was a bit narrow, I still have problems to understand only half of it, many of those tips there are rather vague
leaving me with the certainty I'm only scratching the surface of what's really possible with it regarding photorealism.
I know it's all there but I just don't know how to pull it of to it's full glory...
So I'm looking for a well written manual (with some glances at your treasure box of tricks and tweaks) knowing something like this needs lots of extra time and efforts.
Maybe it encourages you to think about that if I tell you I would easily pay some more money for such a Deluxe version and
I'm sure a lot of other folks would do as well.

I know that NGS2 manual was a bit "poor", but you have to understand that is very difficault to explain tricks and tweaks with one or two pages.
My next shader NGS3 will be coming with Video tutorial, HDRi Maps, Rendering Settings.
Is more easy to show to people how photorealism works with some presets, than some words in a single .pdf file or anything else.

Video tutorial, HDRi Maps, Rendering Settings... wow, that sounds great!!
And a 24/7 support hotline we will get anyway, right?Β Β
Since you resolved the Daz skin shading issue once and for all will you take on the biggest challenge... (fanfare)... a photorealistic tooth shader?
www.cgfeedback.com/cgfeedback/β¦
(probably you have something like that in your drawer already)
I know the tooth geometry in Daz lags some detail but maybe some normal mapping / displacement could compensate that fact at some degree.
Some say you need at least two geometries for a realistic result: inner dentin object and outer one for the enamel.
But I think for normal portraits those lofi Daz teeth should be okay with a proper shader.
Any thoughts?

can't wait to play with it when you release it, I use "N.G.S. Anagenessis 2" on everything
