Description The January part of the Gazette calendar project.
I chose January because its the month of my birthday... (the 23th *hint hint*)
This is very different from my usual stuff... interesting eh?
Yes, thats Aoi. :] I really made an effort to draw the guitar accurately, its such a beautiful guitar I have to do it justice.

I kind of procrastinated on it. >.<

There is an amazing work on details and colouring!
And the composition is so great! With changing colours on the guitar!
How did you do this frozen effects for the background?
And what did you used for the whole drawing? Watercolor? Watercolor pencils? Gouache?

I used a wash for the background. The drawing is in watercolor and pen. Yup thats it... thanks. ^^

I'm really just amazed by all the detail you managed to put in this! you painted so cleanly and maticulously and it shows strongest on the frets and strings on the guitar (are those shadows I see below each fret and string??)

lol Yeah... it looked really flat before i put the shadow. I was like... =_= what is it missing?
It wasn't difficult...what was difficult was geting the frets in place because it get narrower as it descends, not equal units apart so a ruler doesnt help. Its like gaaah! I has to arrange it several times. -__-;;
