Battle Heart
I yawned and looked around my boring space called "home" the King was asleep, both in his world and mine, I could take control of his body now, but there'd be no fun in that, well atleast, that's wat I THOUGHT, I felt a stir in reistsu and looked through the King's sleeping eyes, the Qeen was awake and aparently not too happy about it, she looked at the clock, reading three in the morning, and her already disgusted expression grew, "Great," she mumbeled, looking at the King, "Well Strawberry, it's a good thing we're recovering here, I'll be up a few hours atleast," she shook her head at her own sad attempts at gaining some sleep, true, the nightmares had lessened by atleast 95% since the King told her he loved her, since he started to care for her propperly and everything else, unfourtinatly they didn't stop completely, must be because of the recentness of the war and all, she sat up and swung her legs over the side of the bed, a reminder that the King had her, she was his forever and promised to no one but him, she's even sleeping in his bed, yet he hasn't done anything with her yet, that would've been my FIRST stop as King, "Honestly King," I said aloud, "agreeing with her on this 'vow of purity' is the DUMBEST thing you've ever done!" I shouted at him, I'm simply disgusted with him for this more than anything else, oh well, I'll get her soon enough, just another month if I'm lucky... those two idiots I wish they'd set a date already... but I digress, I watched the Qeen stretch and stand up, wishing that her sheer, wite nightgown was a bit shorter, she grabbed her sheer, pink robe and slid it on, must be a creature of habbit considering it's summer, I watched every single twitch, every single habbit, mostly because I was bored to death! The way she rubbs her eyes like a child, the way she combs her fingers through her hair to get rid of tangles, and the very alluring way that she walks on her tippy toes wen she thinks no one is looking, that's my personal favirote, she bent down and picked up King's CD player and an Evanescence CD, jeez that crap can blare! I think the King is TRYING to smash my brains out with it! (A/N: I love Evanescence ok? I just think it's funny) None the less, I watched the Ballereina-like walk she had as she twirled out the door, I wanted to follow her, so I tried taking over, no luck, but I DID try manifesting, I had only been able to do it once before, and miraculously, it worked
I looked around the corner of the kitchen and watched the qeen intently, she was drinking hot chocolate (I assume she dosen't like coffee) and listening to that music, even humming to the tune, I rolled my eyes, not getting the trend, I shrugged and waltzed in, tapping on her shoulder, "Hey Babe," she said, I held back a chuckle, she took her headphones off and looked up at me, gasping as she saw my face, "Not 'Babe'," I said, "You!" she stood up and put her fists in front of her, I was unamused, "Calm down Qeeny," I said, "I don't want to hurt you," I watched her slowly back up, "Then ... wat DO you want?" I smirked and took a step forward, as expectd she took two steps back, "I just want to talk to you," I said truthfully, "About wat?" "Mighty distrustfull aren't ya'?" she didn't find my observation amusing, "Look Hollow, why don't you just-" her sentence stopped and her eyes widened, I turned around to see wat was scaring her wen I found a burning pain in my side, the Qeen had jabbed a nife in my side, I shrugged and pulled it out, it dropped to the floor with a clatter, she stepped away from me, "Tsk, tsk, Little Qeen," as fast as I could I wrapped her in my arms, clamping my hand over her mouth, "Hush, if you make one sound I SWEAR you will not like it! Understand?" she nodded quickly and I let go, "To answer you question, I want to talk about YOU," "Me?" I pulled her hand and lead her out of the kitchen, "Yes YOU Qeen!" "Why? Wat do you want with me?" "Qeeny, Qeeny, Qeeny," I said, "You've been misinformed, you see, it isn't JUST blood I lust for, no, after being released during that pesky war I realized that I wasn't getting the same adrenaline rush that I used to get, the one I got wen the King rescued you," I saw her flinch and gently pushed her down on the couch, "A rush ... from rescuing me?" "Yeah, ofcourse, see the King vowed that above all odds he'd rescue you, even if he died he'd do it and THAT, dear girl, is were I come in," she gulped and I watched her nuckles turn wite, "Listen Hollow, I get it, you lust for me, but..." "But wat? You belong to 'Ichigo'? Your preciouse 'Ichigo'?" I mocked, "My dear, I AM Ichigo! I am a part of him! Didn't you swear that you would love him?! EVERY part of him?! Regardless of his flaws?!" "YES!" "Well, I'm one of those flaws, the King and I are a packeged deal, and the King has been hogging you," she seemed to understand this quite well, her shoulders slumped and the tension in her body drained, I smirked and crushed her lips with mine!
All too soon she was struggling for breath, this made me both angry AND happy, I tore my lips away and let her breathe, hopefully for the last time tonight, but didn't hesitate to plunge for her creamy neck, she gasped and her face went redder, "HEY!" I heard, I looked up, "Oh crap," I muttered, quickly climbing off the Qeen, "Hey King," I said innocently, and ofcourse THEN the Qeen gets talkative, "Ichigo?" and over the couch she went, "Wat did you do to her?!" oh joy, he's taken the "Hurt-My-Woman-And-You-Die" stance, well that's just lovely, "Nothin'! I just kissed her that's all!" I suddenly got the feeling that I shouldn't have said that, his eyes flashed blue and I got the feeling that I was about to be slaughtered,
Sure enough, as I sat there nursing an aching cheek, the King was on the phone with that stupid hat-n-clogs guy, the Qeen sat next to me, "Sorry," she coughed, my eyes came to be the size of .. well... really big, "Sorry I got you hit," she said, I smiled, "So .... you're disapinted too?" she placed her lithe hand on my chest, "Keep your distance or I'll start crying and that will GURANTEE your death," she threatened, "Anyway, it has nothing to do with YOU anyway, I just hate feeling responsible for other people's pain," I grinned at her, I new the Qeen would get to liking me, I leaned over and licked her cheek, she shreiked, I was pumeled again, I watched as the King took his Qeen harshly in his grip and lead her away, she stuck her pink tounge out at me and mouthed "You deserved that" and so the battle for the Qeen was on
