Description This is the second picture to the concept I introduced in my Kistune - Cave bear picture fav.me/d6fi8p7 but while that Kitsune transformed into a Cave bear using a skull, this one is powerful enough to no longer need skulls, technically in case of a raptor dinosaur there would be no skull anymore but a fossil, and so it can transform into shapes it makes up. Of course low level Kitsune would not be able to do it since they lack the power and experience to do it. This one however is powerful enough to do it and so it can use fossils and even replicas simply as a fix point for its concentration and a raptor dinosaur is not that different from a bird and in stories Kistune could transform into trees so a raptor would not be that far off in my opinion.

This time the Kitsune came out really well in my mind, as well as the skull, but the raptor not so well. Head and feet are ok, but I really need to work on drawing feathers. Originally I wanted a more flamboyant dress but they looked too much for this and the fox-head seemed to dissapear among them so I settled for this dress which I found somewhere on kitsune related sites.
Also I made one big mistake that I didn't notice until the picture was ready: This was supposed to be a seven-tailed fox, but I forgot to draw a seventh tail and when it was ready I could not see a place anymore where it would actually be noticeable behind all the other tails. So it is a six-tailed, oh well, powerful enough I guess.

This is what kira should have been but the show went and killed itself by being cheap just like the show supernatural

Tell me about it. This is especially stupid what the show did not only for it being really cheap and having Kira be this electrical samurai knock-off who apparently cannot use her electric powers except when the plot demands it. But when you get down to it, shapeshifting is not that difficult to do. In a show you would have needed to show the transformation effect only once or twice to satisfy the viewers and afterwards you can just cut away when it happens or shortly conceal the person to imply the shifting. And if she cannot shift into animals you could have just said that she simply needs more experience and that was it. But nooooo, that would have demanded too much creativity apparently.

Oh yeah, that myth, would be great of course if the show would stop claiming that Scott is such a great guy, leader and never gives up and tries to figure things out and actually shows us that. The whole Theo-Scott-Stiles thing is a giant piece of evidence that Scott is a hypocritical idiot who cannot put one and one together and figure out Theo is able to lie convincingly and who would rather believe this guy he knows for a few weeks and not his best friend for years. Not to mention that he had no problem with pretty much everybody he had in his vicinity either being ok with killing or having killed several times already, so his speech to Stiles is really hypocritical.

Funny you mention the nogitsune. I just watched the last episode for this year and what they had Theo say about his pack sounds not only completely idiotic, but it seems as if the writers forgot that "VoidStiles" was never referred to as such in the show and in fact never actually existed perse, that was the "Nogitsune."
And then his chimera pack... I am pretty sure two of them should not be there because Parrish burned their corpses.
Of course that was not the only plothole in that mess of an episode. And they seriously seem to belief as if the "pack" falling apart had anything to do with Scott. The guy didn't do anything prior to the last two episodes that is even remotely related, not to mention that this episode finally established that Mason is like Deaton, Morell and Brayden, a Magical Negro. He has no arc, no story, he is there to advance the plot and give the show points for being "inclusive" even though its clear they do not know what that is.
I just hope my friend for whom I am doing screencaps of this show for her recaps stops after this. Because boy the next season must be bad. And speaking of Bad, I think prior to the Doctors the show never had antagonists that had so little to do with the actual plot of the season and were so much plot devices as they are.
And Parrish being a hellhound is even dumber than him being a phoenix. That is why I had dismissed that option.

Yep, in the 10th episode they suddenly stated that he is a hellhound and for some reason his eyes suddenly glowed red instead of yellow as before (and like they showed in the flashback of said episode). And like a friend of mine said in a recap: There is nothing there that makes him a hellhound as opposed to a phoenix. Everything presented makes much more sense with the phoenix explanation that the hellhound one. I suspect Jeff Davis changed it last minute because viewers caught on to it too fast. Like they did with Lydia being a banshee. No idea why he thought no one would catch on to it long before he revealed what she is. Btw. Isn't it astounding that Lydia has no problems with mountain ash barriers although she is clearly supernatural?^^

I love the textures and details. Plus, I like the reference to traditional kitsunes with the skulls.

Thank you.

Well technically it is a fossil, therefore the kitsune needed some power to do the transformation. The lower levels still need skulls: fav.me/d6fi8p7

Crazy awesome! The details are amazing and the tails warping into a the form of the raptor is simply brilliant.

Well I just wanted to show that it is not that difficult to do something new, so all those authors and filmmakers have no actual excuse.
