RavenOnce upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
" 'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door;
Only this, and nothing more."
OK I see this has become a popular picture all of sudden for what reason I do no know but thanks to all the favs and collections folks.

I have been at this since 2008 and have learnt a lot over the years about giving people their due. If we all share and attribute properly then everyone gets a benefit from the work they do.

I loves ravens. I've always wanted to get a photo of one myself, but they don't live around where I am. Next to cats and bats -an amazing creature in the fact it's a flying mammal and so uniquely shaped -ravens are one of my favorite animals.

here is what I like about them
"Some Ravens in Middle-earth are capable of Speech and were allies of the Dwarves of Erebor, they lived at nearby Ravenhill. Around the time of the Battle of Five Armies, the Ravens were led by RoΓ€c and constantly tell the dwarves about the oncoming army of Wood-elves and Lake-men. Ravens can apparently live for a long time as RoΓ€c was 153 years old when he met Thorin Oakenshield and Company. Ravens can talk to dwarves and are friends to them."
