Description So many colours suddenly  .
I wanted to draw some fan art of AC series, so here it is . It's also my first drawing of a horse since my primary school good to see some improvement

The pose was inspirated by the concept art of Kingdome come deliverance. I can't wait for that game

allright, so I'm nowhere near being a pro at art so take my words with a grain of salt, but:

I've been lookin in your gallery and in my opinion your works are pretty solid. I'd just sugest to look a bit into perspective. adding some atmospherical perspective can make a piece pop out and push it to be just that little bit more. and just a good understanding can help prevent mistakes like the guy in the back looking way too big or the ruins... uhmmm, city? looking disproportionally small. (my AC lore is a bit rusty please forgive me )

again, take my words by a grain of salt as I make these mistakes myself, but i figured we all like a bit of feedback so yeah....

still a good piece though

Thank you very much for the critique I really appreciate it  . I will definitely do some studies (do you have some advices?)  because you got it, perspective and I aren't  very  good friends yet.

well, the easiest is when drawing an urban environment or indoors. 1 to 3 point perspective and all that, I'm sure you'll have no problem with those if you don't know them already.

the hardest (atleast for me) is atmospheric perspective when drawing landscapes. briefly summarised it just means that together with becoming smaller the further away it is, the color changes as well. It shifts towards the color of the sky. I'm still struggling with this one myself as it's hard to maintain the right values.

There are some others that have some dramatic effects too. I don't remember the names, but I'm sure you've seen those drawings that are mainly blue and dark in the foreground and yellow and bright the further away or vice versa.

I don't really have a source to study from though, sorry. But I bet you'll be able to find some pictures or descriptions searching these forms of perspective.

sorry for the wall of text :<
