Description Acrylic on Illustration Board

The character Illyria from the great televison show Angel. In my opinion, one of the best characters ever created. She's a big part of what made season 5 my favorite of the show. The piece of board I used turned out to be a little short in the length, so I had to shorten the arms a bit and adjust the position of the swords some.

For Sale: 6"x10" $150 I might sell it for less if anyone wants to make me an offer.

Thank you! It's an excellent show if you ever get the chance to watch it. It would be helpful to watch Buffy first since Angel is a spin off of it, but isn't necessary. They have some episodes where things cross over. For the most part though Angel has it's own storylines.

Yes, it is. I enjoyed Angel more then Buffy. It was somewhat the same but without all the high school/college girl problems mixed in

Great work. The light blue and black combo is striking. I must catch up on the program, for various reasons I have not seen seasons 4 and 5.

Thanks! Season 4 has some great episodes mixed in, but overall is my least favorite of the show. It's definietly worth the watch to get to season 5 though

i have to agree she was what made that season such a hot season she was angel's castiel in a sense( even those cas was around back then)

Overall Season 5 had the best episodes for me. Especially the one where Fred dies so Illyria can take over her body and the last one with Cordelia. Plus they brought Lindsay back. I miss Castiel They showed him the preview for the new episode this week at least. I'm hoping they bring him back somehow.

i agree ( i dont like how it ended ) but i agree!!lol!!!

far as castiel he's coming back but we just dont know for how long being its not that many eps of this season left. and on top of that you dont know if its cas or his vessel!

and depend on if you saw the last ep you may already know the answer !!lol1

It really sucks that such a great show was canceled. Instead of keeping a show on that had loyal fans they replaced it with shows there were complete failures. They should have at least gave it one more season. I would have loved a different ending with some closure on things. They have the comics that do that I guess, but it's not the same as the show. I don't miss an episode of Supernatural Even with Cas being absent the majority of the season there have been quite a few fantastic episodes. I just really want him back to stay. His ackwardness with human life always made for great humor.

Thank you! I rewatched my dvd sets of the show recently making me really want to paint her. Maybe she is part of the reason I prefer to paint with blue tones The backlighting really made this photo stand out when I was looking for a reference. That and I really liked her facial expression.
