One of the more common types of Valorians, the Anklarians would be almost impossible to be properly told apart at first glance from their aris cousins were it not for the fact the boney crown of their head sports a set of horns and plates that grow constantly with age. Although their face is also made up of a singular wall of thick tissue that covers the skull, their cranium does have a fully formed dental set of mostly sharp and elongated fang-like teeth and a set of muscles that allow this mouth to extend forward in a snout-like form. While this trait is mostly redundant for their nutritive needs, it can provide a final trick should enough damage be done to the head by an attacker.
