Mechanical Pencil, ~16" x 16"

This is an illustration of a young man being evaluated after a spinal surgery in the late nineteenth century. I used many different references (my own photos) to make the final image - the young man in the middle is a complete reference except the shoes, the reference for the senior doctor was much younger than he appears here and had hair, etc.
