Description .....young bronze dragon suspects nonsense.

Tried to fit the new wings onto the millennium dragonling. They don't quite fit right, but still look way better than the original ones...

Now hatchling bronze dragons are supposed to have a greenish tint, but this one has turned an ocher yellow and the burnished bronze is starting to appear along his back. I had a bronze labyrinth amulet that was pretty much exactly this color after it aged a bit.

Thanks! Its something I fiddled with off and on while working on other things so I'm not sure how long it took total. The most time was probably spent adjusting the textures. I'm pretty sure you could do something like that in blender although I haven't used that program myself.

Poser 7. The dragon is the milennium dragonling except the wings were made by Swidhelm (Darren Smith), I modified the textures on both.

Looks really cool. Though the left back leg looks a little funny to me.

The model has funny legs in general... might look a little better if he had a little more muscle on that thigh. That and the webbed feet were painted on by hand, probably doesn't match the rest quite perfectly.

Yeah the millenium dragon model is quite skinny, give that baby a few gnomes to eat!

He's actually got a small pot belly but he's in that 'awkward' phase where the legs are too long and the head is still way, way too big. Makes his body look tiny.

good job with the dragon overall and the color choice, texture etc
I think the picture behind it doesn't quite fit though, since it's a pic taken of a real beach it makes the dragon and the rock it's standing on alittle less realistic.
And yes the wings don't quite fit, maybe if you make the arms alittle thicker it would work better?

Yeah usually that hashes out better if I use depth of field and blur out the background... mostly I did this to get the "bronze" texture re hashed for this character. I have an earlier version of it around here somewhere and this one is much improved, even with the slightly too-skinny wings it's still better than the original ones.

still to give it more of a bronze'ish look why not put the little guy in his habitat maybe something like a cave would work, and you could change the natural color of the cave to your liking, maybe then it will look more real, I dunno just my opinion anyway

As for natural habitat, bronzes love the ocean. I do have some 3d models to make a beach, but they don't look very good. Might take some tweaking to get them to be decent.

still it would look better if everything by be done by you
