This is a close up of the bow for my costume. Totally cheated on this one. XD I bought one of those little bow and arrow sets for little kids, but let me tell you that thing can shoot pretty well when strung right. Obviously the bow looked a lot different when I bought it. First thing I did was make a cover for the handle out of the faux leather, making sure it was tight. Using paper finger claws I had ( you can probably look up how to make them) I put them on either end of the handle and colored them silver with a Sharpie. Then I just colored the bow with a paint pen to make it look more like wood.

Someday I will make a real one either out of wood or PVC, both of which I have found tutorials on. For now, this will do.
