Both are model magic! I popped the lenses out of a cheap pair of sunglasses and covered one of the eyes with model magic.

Paint-wise, you mean? I just used the same stuff I used on my face. I that's why I kinda chickened out of doing the robot arm and just did vision eightfold Vriska. xD;

No, a lot of times the generic halloween stuff is really bad quality. I bought my makeup from here: [link]

Then I bought sealant and stuff. I think I probably also should have bought powder to limit the shinyness of the makeup, but I didn't have enough time to order it before the convention.
