What the hell? Because of presidents like Bush, you're able to voice your opinion. If you don't like the way America is run, LEAVE! Go live in Iraq and Afghanistan and see how life is without opinion and without freedom.

GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.!!

Oh. So, if it's because of presidents like Bush you can voice your opinion, how come you tell the ones who do to fuck off?

Why don't YOU go live in Iraq, and see for yourself how it is fo live in a country where the UN has starved them to death by sanctions, and where the US has blown up their homes?

Although, I don't think that Bush is anything like Hitler, but that doesn't mean I like him. I think he is a total ass and deserves a smack on the butt.

Neither Iraq or Afghanistan were threats to the USA.
However it is important to note that the world security balance is much different to what it was in WW2. Hitler actually had a chance of conquering most of Europe and Central Asia.

However while the USA has gradually been taking over certain regions of the world either culturally, through espionage or through war they simpl cannot take on the larger powers like India, China, Russia, Europe or Brazil and expect a positive result. Therefore while Bush may be as bad as Hitler (as a person) he cannot go as far. Instead we just have to watch him choke starving little African and Middle Eastern children to death with heavy handed politics instead of fighting directly against his 'empire'.

man this is really cool. really like the way you've made him look like hitler. i think this picture is symbolic. war is never the answer....you only need to look at vietnam,ww1 & ww2 for evidence. I know Bush is trying to do his best for his country but was it really necessary to start a war before weapons of mass destruction had been officially proven? since his instigated that war, they've been more kamikaze and suicide bombers than ever, thus making the world or certainly America less safe.

You crack me up........... Think a moment.
Lets compare Hitler with Bush and the left wing and ACLU....

Hitler:
1. Hated Christians, gassed them as well as gypsies.
2. Was for total gun control for control of populace.
3. Hated Jews and Jewish and Judeo-Christian symbols and teachings.

ACLU and Left Wing America:
1. Hates Christians, Christian symbols.
2. Is for gun control even to the point of lying to public, I have not met ONE left wing person who can even NAME a "Assualt Weapon". Sorry, they can not "spray bullets".
3. Hates Jews and Judeo-Christian symbols and teachings.

Now BUSH:
1. Supports religious freedom in the US, even is outwardly Christian in his actions and beliefs.
2. Is against gun control, has seen the evidence in which crime is rampant in areas where gun control is strong, gun control ONLY hurts the LAW ABIDING, because ONLY law abiding FOLLOW the law.......
3. Supports Jewish and Judeo-Christian symbols and teachings, as well as all religion in the USA.

Well now, what does this tell you....
Oh, by the way, as someone who has seen how far the left has gone.......
You would do well to fix your gaze to yourself, the troops are doing thier job, so is Bush.........

This is just an insightful look into what you say is BUSH, I hope you have seen the light in the fact, the left is FAR closer to Hitler than ANYTHING Bush has done. We may agree to disagree, that is what this country is about.
But in a past not to long ago, if you had put this out, you would have been arrested for subversion....... that is fact.

Most Americans, I believe, still think that America is a victim.

They simply don't know enough about what the US Government has been doing for the last few decades , and I tend to think that even when the knowledge comes knocking on their doors - they shrug it off with a self-righteous shrug, as though no American could possibly be involved in acts of evil.

Any 'incidents' can always be blamed on the 'occasional bad apple'...like Sgt. England.

It is, apparently, very easy for America not to follow up on things, not to realize that when Rumsfeld, for instance, says he 'accepts full responsibility' - that something should happen based on that admission. Yet, although he claimed to accept full responsibility, Rumsfeld has not been tried, has not resigned, has not been fired, or suffered any punitive result whatsoever. In effect, his admission of responsibility is just so much voodoo. News-fodder.

It's a horrible situation, and I honestly can't believe it's going to get any better anytime soon.

I've reached a point where I honestly wanted Bush to win.

I'm sick of Democrats and Republicans ( cue laugh track...) playing Good Cop / Bad Cop to the world - and right now - now that at least most of the world's civil society (don't ask me to define that one...) have come to understand - or to begin to understand what America has done and is doing - I do not want that thrust to be lost, as I'm sure it would have been if Kerry had won. He'd have smiled, pulled a Clinton, shook hands - and appeased the world - and the world, sick of everything would have wanted to believe that whereas Bush came to Iraq as an invader, Kerry would have been there to clean up 'Bush's mess'. The world, as it always tends to do, would have probably forgetten, and forgiven, and would have gone back to work, thinking the 'bad guy' had been punished. As though going back to being an unskilled spoilt brat is somehow 'fitting' punishment for the murder of (according to John Hopskins ) at least 100,000 innocent Iraqi's, tens of thousands of Afghani's, the invasion and occupation of two nations, and lying to the world at large.

This would all have been forgiven, forgotten. Arabs would have taken the bait, and would have gone back into KFC, fall back in love with the Big Mac , and happily payed their hard-earned money watching Die Hard 17 - having conveniently forgotten about, for example, Bruce Willis' stance on the war. They might even have accepted the ' Team America: World Police ' grotesque puppetry, that portrays Tim Robbins and Sean Penn as witless accomplices to terrorism.

Pathetic.

And you know - despite all this - when Bush won this time around - I was still surprised and it left me feeling a great dread. Like a shadow had come upon the Earth.

May this world one day be healed.

You say WMD was destroyed back in 91 or 92?
1. Then why was there UN inspectors making sure he had done it?

2. and.... if it WAS destroyed then why was SADDAM not letting inspectors
see? No records?

also...

1. If there was no WMD, then what do you call Al-Samoud missiles shot into Israel and Kuwait during the first days of the war? THESE SAME arms named as WMD by the UN! Oh, I thought they were destroyed........

2. Destroyed? then why did Un inspectors report that Saddam had helicopters fixed with delivery systems for spraying Sarin? OOPS, missed that did you?

Get educated.

Great piece of art! Very provoking.

I still have hope that the comparison to Hitler is too strong, but what with the concentration camp we have going in Guantanamo now and the abuses at Abu Ghraib, where the Red Cross estimates over 90% of the prisoners to have been entirely innocent, I start to wonder.

Also frighteningly, the US today seems to correspond pretty closely to six of seven "mobilizing passions" of fascism as determined by Robert O. Paxton, a Columbia University professor and expert on fascism. (The seven are described in a 1998 essay, "The Five Stages of Fascism.")

1. A sense that one's group or country is superior to others. (To be fair, I doubt if there's any group or nation in the world that doesn't, deep down, think that.)

2. A victim mentality that "justifies any action against the group's enemies, internal or external." (9/11 anyone?)

3. "Dread of . . . decadence under the corrosive effect of individualistic and cosmopolitan liberalism." (The gay marriage fuss is one example of this - another would be the widespread and ridiculous belief that Bush restored "dignity" to the White House after Clinton's idiotic fling with Lewinsky, a claim that overlooks the fact that although Bush may not have cheated on his wife with an intern, he did lie to get us into war, a far more serious offense, and there is considerable circumstantial evidence to suggest that he did cocaine in the 70's, as well as his admitted status as a recovering - to his credit - alcoholic.)

4. The creation of a national community slf-defined by purity and unity and, if necessary, violence against those who disagree. (Thank heaven, we haven't gone this far yet, although with the frightening erosion of our liberties via the Patriot Act and things like it, this may not be far in the future.)

5. "An enhanced sense of identity and belonging, in which the grandeur of the group reinforces individual self-esteem." ("United We Stand," need I say more?)

6.The "authority of natural leaders (always male) throughout society, culminating in a national chieftain who alone is capable of incarnating the group's destiny." (Republicans may disagree, but I see a lot of rhetoric that amounts to this in Republican editorials, websites, etc. )

7. "The beauty of violence and of will, when they are devoted to ...success in a Darwinian struggle." (War on Terror, anyone?)

I hope your art is wrong, but fear it may not be.

Wow, this is quite honestly one of the most disgusting pieces of "art" I think I've ever seen.

To compare the President of the United States to such a sick, twisted being is beyond me.

In this day and age, the one who even slightly resembles Hitler is Saddam Hussein -- both committed mass genocide, both tortured and killed political opponents, both eliminated other political parties from voting ballots, both were threats to the free world.

President Bush and "tiny Tony" are fantastic leaders who are looking to better this world. This campaign wasn't about oil, it wasn't about imposing our views on other cultures -- it was about creating FREEDOM in a place where it did not exist.

And for all of you out there who are insulting President Bush's intelligence... do you honestly think an idiot could go to Yale, become an incredibly successful businessman, excel at politics, then be the elected leader of this great nation? No.

inmyeyes [2003-04-27 00:29:14 +0000 UTC]

Ofcourse Bush isnt Hitler. Hitler was one of the most intelligent men to ever live. Bush can barely walk upright. IMO the relation between the two has more to do with mentality than actions.
