i'm definately keeping up with my preference of vectoring in black/white/grayscale's.
anyways, i'm pretty happy with how this turned out - i like the skin and the eyelashes. of course there are parts that bug me, but oh well. 
--made in ps cs3 extended; all pen tool

Wow, well done! It looks like a photograph from the thumb. I prefer working in black and white because I'm really anal about colors. So I either change the colors later or leave it in black and white.
