Would you be willing to try something like this with a gas-op roller locking interpretation of an FG42/STG45? Basically the FG42's gas system, albeit with the STg45's roller locking bolt. Effectively a gerat 06h, just more beefy? could be in whatever caliber you want.
Either way, I've been meaning to say this for a while, but your artwork is great.
