Description
One of my favourite things in life to draw is animals. Just like humans they have a certain expression in their face and many details in their fur.
A long ago I drew a lion cub, so now I wanted to try out a bird. To make sure I did not outlearn my drawing skills with black and white, I chose these two colors to create this owl drawing.

I found it challeging to create all those tiny feathers on the owl, but also to get the direction of these feathers correctly. During the process of this drawing, I had to wipe my hands clean on baby wipes, because there was so much black pastel dust on my fingers.
