Arty is the youngest of 2 other siblings. He had a older brother Lucas, and an older sister named Carly. Arty was the happiest, most well behaved child. His mother, Ash, didn't like how Arty never cried or complained about anything. (Ash is a bit of a nut btw) She thought it was un-natural. Ash suspected that Arty was some kind supernatural being had replaced her real son. She then summoned a demon with her powers. Ash knew that demons are not to be trusted but she was so distraught, she wasn't able to think about her actions. Ash told the demon to kill her son and in return she would give up whatever he wanted. And so that night, the demon came into the house and killed Lucas instead of Arty. (Ash didn't specify which son to kill.) Arty woke up from the loud sounds coming from Lucas's bedroom and went in to investigate. He found Lucas covered in blood laying in his bed, just barely gasping for air. Before Arty could react he blacked out. He awoke to flashing red and blue lights, and he was on a stretcher. Once in the ambulance, the cop that was riding with the ambulance explained that Ash was arrested and that they would be moving him and Carly to their grandparents. Ever since that night, Arty didn't smile as much as he use to... He lived the rest of his childhood with his grandparents and once he graduated, he moved out with Carly and met Widow, along as all his other friends.
