Introducing my oc x canon ship from Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront)! Miss Zelda Jäger is going to be paired with Klaus Von Reinherz!!! I'm pretty excited about this cute ship - I've got quite a bit planned for them too! I just have to practice drawing Klaus OTL he's so muscly, so it's going to be a challenge - but hey, more practice right? /shot

So these two are childhood friends who knew each other because they both belonged to well-known families and their parents were acquaintances. They spent a lot of time together in the past, both because they were heirs to their respective families, and because both were tasked with learning Blood Battle Techniques to one day take on Blood Breeds. After Klaus left and founded Libra, Zelda was left behind to keep honing her battle style. After she's put through some experiments to try to become a more effective fighter against Blood Breeds, Zelda is eventually called to join the ranks of Libra to give some assistance to them after The King of Despair incident with the barriers.

Needless to say, she's thrilled to see Klaus again, despite the changes to her genetic make-up from the experiments she was put through - namely, having the essence (soul?) of an Elder Class Blood Breed forced into her body, which has given her the elven ears and red eyes she sports, among other things hidden beneath the surface. She was worried he would reject her or that the other members of Libra would refuse to have her join their ranks, because of this mutation, but Klaus - having already been informed - welcomes her with open arms.

Zapp, being the guy he is, immediately tries to hit on Zelda. However, to everyone's surprise, Klaus actually is the one to stop him. As thanks, Zelda proceeds to give the gentle giant a reward - a kiss on the cheek! And that's what this image is a picture of!!!

Klaus kinda snuck up on me - I never thought I'd pair an oc with him, but as I watched the series twice now, I really thought he deserved a beautiful lady! He's a gentleman, adorably nerdy when it comes to Prosfair, a little too pure and trusting for his own good, a gentle giant, and protective of not only his friends, but his plant babies - what's not to love?? Because Zelda is smitten with this Timid Teddy Bear <3

Also, I tried out a new kinda chibi/simple art style with this! I really like how it looks, and might make these a commission option?
