what was going to happen was merlin woulda got stuck unable to go back. then Arthur the girl kinda has to deal with being like this.  then she meets a friend and they spend time together...  then friend has to leave with his father..... time skip ....friend  returns and both are adults. arthur gives up on returning to his body. begins family with boy friend. the merlin comes back at the end like WTF? who's gonna be king now? 


you know along those lines buuuuttt. It kinda nvr happened

Well, obviously Arthur still would have become King, I mean Saber from Fate/stay night had to come about somehow didn't she?
