Description
A companion piece to this one (sort of), this is once again part of a much larger painting (*sweatdrop*) that is as of yet incompleted. Joy.

My rendition of Compulsion, one of The Three (a trio of goddess-like figures) from my novel Destinée de la Lionne via my pathetic description of her:

The second one, a slightly shorter woman, reached out to brush the first’s elbow, her hair the color of ripe chestnut hearts, falling in wispy curls around a heart-shaped face, a short silver and green cape wrapped around her upper body over a paler dress of soft turquoise silk. Where Fate was a dark-touched shadow, an unearthly beautiful being – fey, almost, this younger woman was not. There was an earthy feel to her, a living feel to her.

She looked like a song, or maybe a cat. Not that there was much difference.

Eh, a fairly important character, Compulsion tends to hold herself apart from her sisters' (Fate and Destiny) constantly waging wars; thus the symbolic color of her hair - auburn/brown, a color somewhat inbetween the black of Fate and the white of Destiny. Once again, The Three are neither good nor bad.

Brown hair....blargh....it looks more like a blackish auburn than brown...I can't paint brown hair to save my life.

Yes her eyes are demented; I'll probably redo them at least once before the end; although I still have to repaint Destiny *choke* and edit the rest of the painting....gods help me.

Once more, the background is filler space, due to my uncanny inability to post anything without one. Joy.
