UPDATE: Sorry it took so long, but I did the little correction some of my watchers commented about. ^_^ The flamingo Ballerina's face is more visible now. Thanks everybody.
it's the epic battle...who's prettier, flamingos or swans (preferably black swans in this case) it's an untold battle that no one knows about. shhhh!!

Aw, this is absolutley magnificent! Stark contrasts but subtle blending and incredibly vibrant on both sides. I gotta go with flamingos on this one.

i love that their black...or whatever race they are that's not white...not that there anything wrong with that...it just gets annoying after a while...its like other races dont exist in cartoons sometimes...*le sigh*

*clears throat* 'Kay. First off, I love this kind of sort of compare and contrast type of thing. I used to draw a lot of them as a kid. :3
Those flamingos blow me away. I mean, I've always thought of flamingos as being a little goofy, but you made them beautiful and elegant. And they're different colors, too! Some have black in their wings, some have white eyes... it makes that part of the picture much less monotonous. And for the other side, you could've used crows like everyone else... but you didn't, you used swans. That fact alone made me admire this so much more, and I really just couldn't take my eyes off it.
I think my favorite part about this, and I hope I don't sound stupid by being wrong, because I looked at this for a long time, is that despite that this is sort of got that good-vs-evil kind of feel to it, that you did not give them wings. You just completely stomped generic into the ground, and this piece is just.. like no other. You could've used some pasty, gorgeous vampire/goth with black wings and hair on one side and a shiny, golden blonde beauty on the other with white wings, but you didn't. And that touches me. :3
