I can't really tell what Story did to Anansi, but it looks like he ate him. ._____.;
However, seeing how Anansi looks pretty calm, collected, and unimpressed, it seems like he has a plan that Story isn't aware. After all, Anansi is a trickster, so Story shouldn't be too cocky about Anansi losing his touch.

Thinking about it, Anansi has been one of my obsessions since the first time I was introduced to his stories as a five year old. This happening to him is rather terrifying for that, without Story going dripping eldritch monster.

I hate having to see Erik scurry away like that - I understand it; just sometimes a tactical retreat must be made - let alone being terrified about seeing something like this play out before you.Β But eventually - I would like to see Story dealt with and absolutely get his ass kicked.Β I mean, so far he's had the upper hand but the winner doesn't win forever and the underdog has their day - at least once.
And - barring that, I know a place that sells vats and vats of stuff like they used in 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'...

Blank can be filled by more than Story. Besides a Writing Block wouldn't stop Story, just diminish him long enough to iron out his rough patches, make his words a little more concise, and avoid unnecessary flourishes.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. Story is terrifying. Story is essentially an eldritch abomination for these characters. And Story using Sarah's lines against Anansi only makes it worse.

There's enough pagan belief in Anansi that would strongly disagree with Story's assessment.
