My first plushie of the new year
Everyone meet baby hedgehog I was just thinking of cute animals to make last night so I was just looking at pictures of cute animals on Google and a cute little ball of spikes appeared on my screen
He is made of minky, fake fur and plastic eyes and noses (you can get them in most craft stores).
I'm not sure I'm 100% happy with him, but my family seem to love him

Critique wise, I would say his left eye looks slightly lower than the right, though that might be the angle of the pic, or his eyelid doesn't cover as much as the other, it's hard to specify with just the one photo to go on.
But he's so adorable that it doesn't really matter cos he looks so sleepy and snuggly!

Yeah the eyes are always a problem for me, especially these plastic ones because they get messed about when you put the stuffing in :/

I bet! I remember doing the details was always the worst bit cos I'd spend ages sewing it just to muck it up with dodgy eyes or whatever. I've kinda given up making plushies lately because I couldn't do what I wanted with it and got fed up with making rubbish

His eyes look weird, but that might just be the angle of the shot. Either way, he's so adorable! And he makes me think of Radagast the Brown's hedgehogs in The Hobbit.
