I know someone else just mentioned his teeth in here, but seriously I'm mesmerized by those pearly whites. They're so lifelike. The not quite perfect way they curl inward, the many colours you've painted them with, the way the lips fold around his mouth, it's just so Alan Rickman but in a way that I never thought I could recognize someone by. But the whole thing really; it's all gorgeous

Thank you sooo much! His mouth gave me so much grief! I adore painting teeth, I find it rather satisfying and I'm glad they are being noticed. The lips however were giving me trouble for ages and I think I redid them twenty times or more.. I'm glad you've pointed that out because honestly, the amount of time that went into it. I still think the lips could be improved but I just had to call it a day eventually!

You're super welcome! I'm surprised (and interested!) to learn you struggled with the lips. I'd say the whole mouth area is just my favourite part of this painting so I guess all that finetuning really paid off!
