Description “Come on, hurry up.” Izaya groaned out from a few meters away. “We’re going to miss the flight.”
You huffed through the airport, your carry on slung over your shoulders. You walked past terminal after terminal. “I’m going as fast as I can you ass.” You apologized almost every 50 feet because either your shoulder or your bag would hit into someone.
Finally, you both reached the proper terminal. “Good, they’re just now boarding.” Izaya sighed as he pulled out 2 tickets from his pocket. You both got in line and waited for the woman to scan your tickets. You watched the people as they got on the plane, it’s funny how so many people could be going to the same place at once.
“Izaya, where exactly are we even going?” You questioned out to your boyfriend and he just shrugged.
“That’s for me to know, and you to find out.” He sang in your ear, a big smirk on his face as he concealed the location of your trip. All you know was to dress warm and take off work for 8 days, meaning the trip would go through Christmas. That was it. Nothing more, and especially nothing less.
You both finally boarded the plane and your seats were in first class and you gawked at the set up. There were two chairs in a row, one row on each side of the isle. The chairs were cushioned to the extreme and were extendable for sleeping use. There was a tv screen that came out from the sides of the chair and were adjustable for your height. Blankets were folded neatly under the chair in front. The chairs themselves seemed to be big enough to fit two people each.
You couldn’t stop your amazed wandering eyes until Izaya nudged your shoulder. “Well, you going to sit or what?” He chuckled out.
“I’m obviously going to sit you dummy.” You laughed with him. “It’s just, I’ve never been first class on a plane before. This is amazing.”
“Well, it’ll be a 16-hour flight, so I wanted to make sure my princess was comfortable the entire way.” He spoke as he sat down, bringing one of his legs over his knee and relaxing into the chair.
“16 hours?” And all he did was hum out in affirmation. “Can you tell me now?”
“No.” He rolled his head to the side facing you and smiled evilly.
“You’re not bringing me to some remote place to kill me, are you?”
“Who knows.” He said maniacally and you really wanted to smack him but you couldn’t… so you did mentally.
“Ugh, I love surprises but I’d like to at least know the location.” You huffed out but Izaya didn’t pay any mind to it which made you sigh louder.
You got the prompt for emergency landings, where items were located and how to fasted a seatbelt before taking off into the sky above.
The flight surprisingly went by kind of fast for you. You watched 2 movies before zonking out with your head resting on the informant’s shoulder and his head leaning down against your head. Then you landed for a fuel stop and lifted off again. You basically did the same thing for the rest of the trip, but this time Izaya watched the movies with you as well and you fell asleep during the third one.
“Hey, hey. Get up, we’re here.” Izaya shook your head slightly, waking you up.
“Mmmm… I’m up… I’m up…” You droned on as you slowly stretched your legs out in front of you. “Okay, okay, where are we?” You impatiently asked again for the zillionth time today.
“App, app, app. I’m still not telling you.” He spoke as you both un-boarded the plane and went to the luggage area and waited for your bags to make their way around the conveyor belt. “Just let me fully surprise you.
You sighed out and complied but as you walked out of the airport you wandered your eyes around and noticed everyone wearing heavy jackets and fur hats. Izaya ushered a car and spoke… what? Was that German or something?
“Alright, get in. We should arrive to where we’re going in an hour or so.” He spoke as he grabbed your bags and put them in the trunk.
Throughout the entire ride, you had your eyes plastered out the window in complete awe of your scenery. There were mountains upon mountains for as far as the eye could see. The snow that caressed itself over the trees and the land was gorgeous and you could feel joy bubbling up inside of you. But, finally the trip was over and you found yourself standing in front of a cabin.
The cabin was covered in snow and had a path carved out in foot deep snow to the door. There was a mountain directly behind the cabin that made it seem like it was a painting or photograph you were looking at. Not that it was right there in front of you.
“Izaya…” You whispered out and he appeared next to you with all your luggage in hand.
“Well, shall we?” He nodded over to the door and fished a key out of his pocket.
“Um, I mean, sure?” You spoke, still trying to put together everything in front of you. The landscaping was beautiful that it just seemed to dim all your thoughts.
You made your way into the cabin and your eyes got even bigger. There was a gorgeous fireplace with leather chairs and couches around it in a half circle. The stairs were open that guided up to the upstairs and don’t get you started on the kitchen.
“Soooo…” You sang out as you walked over to the raven-haired boy. You wrapped your arms around his waist and looked up at him. “Can I know where we are now?”
He chuckled, a slight bit of mischief in his eyes but he decided to tell you. “We’re in Zermatt, Switzerland.”
Your eyes widened. “You brought me to Switzerland!?”
“I thought that such a gorgeous place deserved the presence of such a gorgeous girl.” He smirked and landed his lips on yours, heating you up instantly. “Now, how about we unpack and head down to the town. There’s a ton of stuff to do down there this time of year.”
You nodded your head and followed the informant’s suit and unpacked a little of your clothing for your stay.
By making your way down a portion of the mountain, you found that other cabins weren’t so far away, at all. It just seemed the area you were in made it seem a lot more secluded. Once you made it to the town your eyes widened. There was cabin after cabin after places built purely out of logs. The entire place was lit up and it bounced a reflection off the snow that littered the top of every single building.
“So, we can eat first if you’d like. You’re probably hungry. I know I am.” He spoke as he guided you through the town, hand in hand.
You pointed at a bunch of places, smiling and giggling with amazement. After you’d eaten, you ventured the town more, doing cute things like ice skating and throwing snowballs at each other in the middle of the road. Which, wasn’t really a “road road” since you noticed that it was completely car free which gave you an even more amazed feeling. This place was unique and you were so happy that you were spending it with the love of your life.
