oh you enjoy watching the show and you know it. Seeing Lyta show up and know she could swat Bester away like a flea makes you giggle.

The Babylon Project was a dream, given form. Its goal: to prevent another war, by creating a place where humans and aliens can work out their differences peacefully.

The Babylon Project was our last, best hope for peace.
It failed.
But in the year of the Shadow War, it became something greater: our last, best hope – for victory.
Some other great Ivanova
I do not like Santiago. I've always thought that a leader should have a strong chin. He has no chin, and his vice president has several. This to me is not a good combination.
Vakar Ashok, our gun arrays are now fixed on your ship. They will fire the instant you come into range. You will find their power most impressive…for a few seconds.
No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow. What?! Look, somebody's got to have some damn perspective around here. Boom. Sooner or later. BOOM!
Confirmed, Survey 1. Upon arrival, you will report for debriefing. And just one more thing. On your trip back, I'd like you to take the time to learn the Babylon 5 mantra: "Ivanova…is always right. I will listen to Ivanova. I will not ignore Ivanova's recommendations. Ivanova…is God. And, if this ever happens again, Ivanova will personally rip your lungs out!"
Good luck, Captain. I think you're about to go where ... everyone has gone before.
What's going on? You all look like a Pak'ma'ra just ate your cat.
And her best:
Who am I? I am Susan Ivanova. Commander. Daughter of Andrei and Sophie Ivanov. I am the right hand of vengeance, and the boot that is going to kick your sorry ass all the way back to Earth, sweetheart! I am Death Incarnate, and the last living thing that you are ever going to see. God sent me.

Well, she is green and purple leader!
One of my favourites is: "Zog!? Zog what? Zog yes, zog no!"

Saddest Ivanova moment is when Marcus... okay, promised I would...

I also keep looking at my DS9 boxsets, I had to re-purchase them last year and I haven't finished doing a test watch. Wondering where I got to somewhere in season 5, also wondering how far I am from 'Time's Orphan', now that's another... ...moment.

Deep Space Nine had so many good moments once they found their direction with it

The first few seasons didn't work for me because it was doing the episodic thing like TNG only on a station and I was hoping they'd do something different with it. When they changed that up with more serialized story-telling it got more interesting.

I liked how they were able to maintain a balance betweeen stand-alone and serialised storytelling. Although, I loved on going story arcs back then, I've found with more recent series (not just Trek) serialized storytelling has become really tiresome, I can't be having with 15 episodes just to tell a single story. Also, with TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT, I can pick out a favourite episode to watch, like The Inner Light or Time's Orphan, and I don't have to have seen 5 season's worth of episodes to understand what's going on. I really like The Expanse, which although tells a story over many episodes, each episode is quite distinctive and I really enjoy The Orville because it's a throwback to a more episodic style, and yet I can't watch Discovery at all because I ether fall asleep out of boredom, or am grossed out by something that should be in a horror film.

It's a port of call – home away from home for diplomats, hustlers, entrepreneurs, and wanderers. Humans and aliens wrapped in two million, five-hundred thousand tons of spinning metal, all alone in the night.

It can be a dangerous place, but it's our last best hope for peace.
This is the story of the last of the Babylon stations. The year is 2258. The name of the place is Babylon 5.
