This isnt Tabia's first concept image, but it's the most fresh and polished version I have so far, so it is the only one being posted here.

Tabia was a low ranking Jiwe clan female, who was unpopular with the queen and her sisters, regarded as a real killjoy for her mild nature. She isn't as much of a nervous wreck as her son, but bound by the same reign of violence, didn't speak her disagreements openly. She was a calm and skilled member of the clan, and very talented at finishing hunts. She coddled Bakari, and everything he knows about patience and kindness he learned from his mother. They stayed close even in his adulthood, and he was devastated by her death.

She is deceased by the time of the story's events, but I couldn't help but want to design her anyway, as she may appear in flashbacks and conversation. I hope hers and Bakari's family resemblance is evident- blending and balancing genetic traits is still something I'm trying to learn to do well.
