a redraw/ reimagining of the grasslands from the 2017 comics. i wanted to work on my sense of scale which i'm still working on but i think this piece is alright

Story: The boy and his sister walked through the filthy yellow fields, their tiny footsteps muffled by the rustling grass and the constant sound of wind whistling in the distance. They couldn't shake the feeling that they were being followed as they walked. They could feel the cold air tugging at them, trying so desperately to have them. After what felt like hours, they finally reached the top of a hill and saw an old, weathered barn in the distance. Its paint was peeling, and the roof was caving in, but to the children, it was a welcome sight. They knew that whatever was following them would not be able to enter the barn, at least for a little while.
