This is one of my newest bags. It was made using various techniques: macrame, knitting, crochet hook.It's 100% natural medias: raw wool, linen and hemp string.
The buttons were also hand made, but I'm not sure what are they made of. I bought it on a flea market and polished them - it's some kind of acrylic clay.
size: 22x20x5cm.
Available on my new natural craftsmanship shop-site (Ashte-Art.com ). I'm making it for all those who appreciate hand made accessories, jewelery and clothes. Especially for those who, like me, are vegetarians, ecologists, or vegans. It's still hard to find something nice for a reasonable price if you are one of those and you don't feel like artificial fabrics or materials, and animal skins.

Jest mi bardzo miło, że w mojej galerii znalazłaś coś, co przypadło Ci do gustu

Mam nadzieję, że nie długo w końcu coś wystawię - bo aparat zepsuty i w ogóle

very nice, and time consuming...........i do some macrame myself, but i stick to smaller pieces..........i dont have the patience for bigger stuff

Most of my macramé bags are made from thick string... they don't take much more then a day to finish. The ones made in mixed techniques (partly knitted - like this one), take more time, because it's quite hard to knit with string... Thanks

You should! You should! It's a real pleasure... relaxing and rewarding. Especially when you don't have an allergy for various types of strings, like I do. It's lot of sneezing and coughing unless I wear a protective mask...

Ah, now I get the title, Gaia means Earth in some language if I remeber correctly. Anyway, it looks very nice, I don't see that many hemp purses, actually, this may be the first one I have ever seen. Favving!

Gaia comes from Greek mythology - It's basically Mother Earth. Hemp string is quite popular all over the world. It's been used to make all sorts of things long before anyone came up with the bright idea to smoke hemp leaves
