ok so.... this is amazing lineart by ~nekki [link]and the background is stock from =evile33 [link]
colouring by me roughly 5 hours on photoshop.
now know next to nothing about naruto so when i saw this lineart i didnt reckognise it as ino from naruto and id already started colouring red hair so she has just become some random girl with red hair lol.
please critique because digital is a fairly new field for me (hence why im practicing colouring other linearts) and this is the first digital pic ive been remotely pleased with.

Wow, this coloring job is amazing. Wonderful work. ^^ The lack of blending in the hair makes it look like you painted it, at the same time keeping a smooth, beautiful and luminescent look to it. :3 The eyes stand out against the other contrast of colors, catching the veiwers eye very well. <3 whether the lines were yours or not, your coloring adds a flair in it's own to the character. *giggles* I quite like Ino as a fiery red-head. x3

thank you, yeah i was trying a new technique with this colouring, ive always done blending so much that all the different colours blend into one mush and you can never really see the highlights or the shadows, ive always been scared to put in colour that actually shows so on this one i decided to just stop being scared and go crazy, i do quite like it.
haha ino, that was just bad i had coloured the hair when i realised and then i was like screw that, she looks better with red hair anyways

XDD indeed. I had no idea it was ino until my eyes trailed down to her outfit. "That looks kind of familiar. Hm." It finally struck me when I took the link to the original lines. *chuckles* She does look better this way. ^^
