Felt like doing something OOTS related.It's O-Chul, toughest bastard of the Saphire Guard and one of my favorite support characters.

We'll see. Probably not so soon, since it's basically just a shirt+pants as far as I can tell.
I currently work through the various NPCs of the comic and there are plenty I like, so that could take a while, anyway.
I look forward to see him again at Krogar's gate, however (and hope he'll make it through the story okay), and if he gets a cool new armor or something...who knows ; )?

I'm kinda hoping he stays with the look. It feels like his true badassness came out after he lost his cape.
I'll bet he ends up having a back to back badasses moment with the monster before or after he comes out of the shadows.

Can be very basic stuff... I'm that kinda guy who found out what the gradient tool does a few days ago after one year of frequent photoshop use...

Don't worry, I'm also that person.. I only found out I could use layers after using a drawing program for half a year at least.. 
But on topic: Try to find a light source, if you have decided the light source you can add the shadows on the opposite side of the light source and the highlights on the side of the light source. Maybe use some references for clothing or the face and/or hands, i don't know your way of working out a sketch but you could check out these two tutorials of mine to see how i do it:
